The Daily Frame February 19th- 25th Remington, Virginia Photographer
Thanks for joining me this week for the Daily Frame week in photos. I am still going strong and haven't given up taking a photo each day. Some days are harder than others, and sometimes I tend to take more than one photo a day. We are in to week 8, and I'd love if at the end you check out the other photographer's week as well. So here's some shots from our week.
50/365:
Today was a little eventful. You got your finger slammed in the door. We had to take a little trip to the ER. You handled it like a champ though. Everyone in the ER loved that you were wearing your Superman cape and made a big fuss over how cute you were. One of the nurses brought you this little frog for being so brave.
51/365:
Tonight we took the older kids to spend the weekend with their Dad. There is a snowstorm coming tomorrow so after that we did some grocery shopping so we could be in and watch movies this weekend. Tonight we decided to watch Finding Neverland. You tried your best to stay up late and watch with us, but you didn't quite make it to the end. Sweet Dreams little man.
52/365:
Well they were finally right about us getting quite a bit of snow. You do not like the snow. Every time it snows you tell us you think it's too cold and you hate it. Today you decided to get out there and play with us, and you did enjoy it.
53/365:
Today you were in Superman mode. You watched Superman cartoons and had to wear your Clark Kent glasses. You just looked so cute all bundled up in blankets watching tv. Even caught you in the act picking your nose. You'll kill me one day for this photo, but that's ok.
54/365:
You have been talking about wanting to learn how to take photos. So I let you use my old camera to play a little tonight. I would love if you started getting into photography as well.
We got one without the camera as well. :)
55/365:
Homework. No one enjoys it, but it's gotta be done. Tonight you learned some tricks to help you with your division.
56/365:
Happy Birthday Mariah. Today is your 9th Birthday! We had a little small family celebration at home tonight before we celebrate with other family and friends over the weekend.
Thanks so much for taking the time to check out our week. Next up is Jasmine Keath, her posts are always full of the most gorgeous light. Click here to see her post.
Until next time... xo

February 30 Minutes in the Life Remington, Virginia Photographer
Hello and thanks for coming to check out the 30 minutes in the life post this month. Today it's been snowing ALL day. I am not a fan of the snow and neither is the little one, but we ventured out for a bit and had a little fun. When I came out my hubby surprised me with a little sweet love note on the van. Sometimes I take for granted all the little sweet things he does for me. I am pretty lucky to be so loved. We came inside had some hot chocolate with marshmallows and did some coloring for a bit. Here are some of our shots.
Be sure to check out the next photographer in our circle, who I am so happy to call one of my friends. I am sure she is so happy she is not dealing with all of this snow since she is in sunny Florida. I am sure she has some beautiful photos to share this month. Click here to see Sharleen's post this month.
Until next time... xo

The Daily Frame February 12th-18th Remington, Virginia Photographer
Hello and thanks for checking out my photos from this past week. I am going strong photographing every day. Taking a photo each day is not as challenging and it just seems to happen with ease.
At the end of my post, be sure to follow along our circle and check out the other girls week. They have some great photos to share this week.
Our week has been pretty ordinary. It's been very, very, cold. So our opportunities to get outside have been rare or only for a few brief minutes.
43/365: Sometimes on Thursdays you get to come with me to pick up Dad after work. You love to look at these ponds and see the geese or explore the weeds and flowers. You always want to smell the flowers. You were surprised that even though these had dried up they still had a strong scent to them.
44/365: Today was your Valentine party at school. You got this fortune teller game valentine and it was your favorite. We played it over and over tonight before bed laughing at all the predictions it had for us.
45/365: You love to paint. Today you were painting and decided to make Valentine prints of your hand after painting a design on your hand.
46/365: Today you let me photograph you. It was the best part of my day. You didn't complain or seem to mind at all. I will take any opportunity I get to photograph you as much as possible.
47/365: Well today was a LONG day. It started snowing here and I had to wait forever to pick up my husband. It was almost dark but these geese were having a blast playing all over this frozen pond. This is not my favorite photo, but at least I got one today.
48/365: Today was a snow day for you guys. I still had to go to work, but you enjoyed the snow all day as much as you could. When I got home I was so happy I got to see you enjoying yourself a bit before the sun went down.
49/365: Today you stayed home with Dad. This is what your little face looked like when I got home. Covered in Cheetos. Looks like you had a good day to me.
Thanks for checking out my post and taking a peek in to our every day. Be sure to click here and check out Liz Godfrey's post.
Until next time... xo

The Daily Frame February 5th-11th Remington, Virginia Photographer
Hello, it's that time of the week again. Time for The Daily Frame Blog Post. I love being a part of this group and capturing a photo every day. It is so great seeing a peek in to each of our lives each day. After you check out my week in photos be sure to follow along to see the next photographer in our circle.
36/365: Today it was FREEZING cold here in Virginia, but when we got home at 6pm... There was still daylight! Happy Dance!! It was very little but there was still a little light. So we ran inside and grabbed the camera and got a quick shot.
37/365: Sometimes our days are long and difficult. There are often challenges that neither of us want to face or deal with, but we must do it. The nice thing is that no matter what we have to endure I know that I have you by my side to support me. You are my best friend and truly my other half.
38/365: Today is our anniversary. 7 years. I can't imagine my life without you. We didn't do anything fancy or elaborate, but just having time together was so meaningful for both of us. You wore this shirt under your dress shirt the day we got married as a joke. When I came in the room you were watching tv wearing that same tshirt. (Game Over) I couldn't help but laugh and I thought it was so great that you still had that shirt after all this time.
39/365: Today the weather was beautiful and we were so excited to be outside enjoying the weather. You had such a good time riding your bike. It made me long for spring even more.
40/365: Oh Mondays... They are the worst. You had a really hard day. Your teacher upset you today, you didn't want to do your homework, nothing seemed to make you happy today and that just made things even worse. You got in trouble and you threw a fit. Once you got calmed down I asked you if I could take a photo of you while you were upset. You agreed and said you wanted our book at the end of this project to show that some days are bad ones. We talked about how having a bad day every once in a while helps you grow and learn and also helps you appreciate the really good days.
41/365: Oh tonight was funny. I wasn't sure what I was going to photograph, so I just decided I was going to photograph you doing your homework. You thought it would be hilarious to hide from me every time. So here are your hiding photos. Your brother on the other hand saw a STAR WARS commercial and got so excited yelling STAR WARS RULES!! So we got that also. :)
42/365: Tonight we got home just as the sun was going down and just before we went inside you thought you saw a shooting star. You stopped and started making a wish. You were so sure that you found a wishing star. I wasn't about to crush your excitement and tell you it was a tiny plane up in the sky. So maybe there's a such thing as wishing planes.
Thank you for following along this week and checking out the post. Please be sure to follow along the circle and check out all the lovely ladies in our group. Next up is another Northern Virginia girl Deanna from Daisy Baby Photography. Click here to check out her post. Hopefully we might get the chance to meet up here soon since we are so close.

The Daily Frame January 29th - February 4th Remington, Virginia Photographer
It's that time again. Time to share some of the photos from our week.
29/365: Today after counseling you saw that the bike park was right next door. You remembered coming here when you were younger. You wanted to check out this old train caboose, but as soon as you got yourself up on it, it started sleeting and snowing so we had to go.
30/365: The magnolia tree across the street is starting to lose it's giant leaves, so you had lots of fun checking them out and playing with them. You loved the texture and how thick they were.
31/365 Oh there are no words to express how much I love to photograph you. Especially when you are in your element. Maybe it's because I am still crazy in love with you after all these years. Maybe it's because I am sentimental because our anniversary is coming up. We are so opposite on so many levels, but also we fit together like perfect puzzle pieces. What ever it is, I can't explain it, but I love when I get to capture you.
32/365: Today is the Superbowl. The whole family has been excited since our team is in the game. I took tons of photos of you guys all throwing the football together, but I chose this one of you today. You are no longer my little boy who races over to grin from ear to ear at the camera. Instead you run and hide preferring not to be captured often. So I take these rare moments when I get to capture you and cherish them.
33/365: We have still been ill this week and not feeling well. When we were on our way home from the drugstore you started to fall asleep in the car. The light was shining on your sweet face, and I thought you looked just beautiful.
34/365: You are crazy about strawberries right now, it is your favorite snack. You think you are so grown up because you like slicing them up all by yourself. You are looking a little too grown up for me in this photo.
35/365: Bath time. There are many nights when we get home and you are so cranky and tired. Sometimes it is so nice to get you in the bath and get you distracted for a while. Your whole mood changes and you end up having so much fun.
Thank you for taking a peek into my week. Be sure to follow along and check out the rest of our circle. Next up is Jen Fredette. Her photos are always beautiful, but this week she has some images that will knock your socks off. I am really not a fan of winter, but the beauty she has been capturing in Montana is just stunning. Click here to see her post.
Until next time... xo
