It's that time of the month for our June 30 minutes in the life post. My post this month is from a little date I had with my daughter, Mariah. She is the middle child, and often times just wants some special attention of her own. Her older brothers get to do some things that she doesn't with their friends and she just needs something special for her. So one Saturday morning we got up and did just that. We had to go to Fredericksburg which is about an hour away. There is a Krispy Kreme donut shop there, that she has been wanting to go to. So I thought this would be the perfect little treat to start off our morning. I mean who doesn't love their donuts, they are the best! Be sure to follow along our circle and check out the other amazing photographers in our group. Next up in the circle is Kristi Burton, click here to see her story this month.
Until next time...
Oh Karen, I cannot even tell you how much I want a Krispy Kream right now! Not only do we not have normal doughnuts here (the equivilant is amazing, but sometimes you still just want a normal one), but I'm off sugar for an 8 week challenge. Anyway, that aside, these are spectacular! I love all the different perspectives and just adore the look on your daughter's face while eating such deliciousness.
ReplyDeleteI hope this does not go twice. I loved that you had time for a mommy daughter date. Those times are special. It was great that you incorporated the making of the doughnuts. My favorite photo has to be the first one with that real dreamy look on Mariah's face as she bites into her doughnut.
ReplyDeleteWhat a special time for you and Mariah! These are just lovely-as are the moments you spent with her. And really? I'm not much of a donut person, but now I kind of want one.
ReplyDeleteGreat month again, Karen!
YUM!! Great images, Karen!!
