November 30 Minutes in the Life / Remington, Virginia Photographer

It's officially cold here. No beautiful warm evenings to go run around and play soaking up beautiful evening light.  No running around barefoot or shirtless. It's dark in the morning when I leave and dark in the evening when I get home. So it makes shooting with natural light a little difficult.  So a couple weeks ago when we woke up, the morning light was so beautiful. So we just decided to skip breakfast and go play outside in the morning light for a change. It was cold... It was our first frost. We had fun just the two of us wandering around looking at the beautiful red leaves.  We found puddles covered in ice and of course she wanted to jump the puddles and try to pick up big chunks of ice.  Here is our 30 minutes enjoying some morning light.

Be sure to follow along our circle and check out the rest of our group.  Next up is the amazing Charlotte Kitchenside from Three Flowers Photography click here to check out her post.

  7. This is stunning! The lacing of frost on the leaves is exquisite and I love your daughters cold red cheeks. She is adorable in these: so pretty and playful. I love the mix of close-ups and then situating her in the icy landscape. And the colours!!! Gorgeous from beginning to end.
