When you think about moments in your life that stand out, or are the most important to you, what are they? Depending on where you are in your life it could be many things. When I look back on my life, honestly the most important of days are the births of my children. I have some photos from those days, but they are mainly ones that I captured. Not a story of my day. If I could do it all over again, I would do this. I would document the little things, the closeness of a family about to fall in love with this little bundle of joy that is about to enter their life . The excitement, the nervousness, the fear, the support from your family, the waiting...
This was the first opportunity I had to photograph a birth, and I must tell you, I so much enjoyed being there. I am ever so grateful that Kellen and Matt had me there to document this milestone in their life. I hope I get to photograph more of these stories... They are such important moments in our lives, and what a wonderful moment to look back on and revisit time and time again.
