Last evening we went to the Brandy Station Carnival. One of my favorite things to do in the summertime is go to the carnivals and fairs. I love the lights, all the colors and the sweet smell of all the summer treats that are being offered. Everyone is always happy and having such a great time. Last night was a perfect summer evening. The weather was beautiful and we had such a fun time. Here are a few of my favorite shots of the evening.
Thanks for taking the time to view our images of the evening... Have a wonderful summer! xo

30 minutes in the life of July...
This month I have joined up with a group of some of the sweetest bunch of photographers and we are starting a blog circle called 30 minutes in the month of.... This blog circle will link us all together and give you a peek in to how we document 30 minutes of our lives each month. Today I wasn't initially planning to shoot for my post. I had planned to wait until we went to our local fireman's carnival tomorrow. However, we were outside and heard the ice-cream truck coming down the road and the kids were so excited. So I grabbed my camera and started snapping. Well one thing led to another and I realized I had been snapping shots while they were enjoying their ice cream and playing on the porch. So, here is a peek in to our afternoon in July. Up next is, Cindy Cavanagh, "Albury Child and Family Photographer" is a photographer from Albury, Australia. Take a moment to enjoy and follow the rest of the circle to check out 30 minutes in all of our lives.

Catherine ~ Children's Photographer ~ Warrenton, Virginia
This past weekend I had a photo session with a young lady that I have had the pleasure to watch grow from a sweet little girl in to a beautiful young teenager. We went to a few places in Warrenton for her photo session. Our first stop was at Rady Park in Warrenton, Va. As soon as we got there and got started it quickly began to rain on us. Catherine was a trooper and it didn't stop us from continuing. She really wanted some images on some railroad tracks so, we also decided to make a stop in Old Town Warrenton at the Warrenton Branch Greenway. We tried to make it fun and all about her and what she is in to at this stage in her life. I hope when she and her family look back at these images it will give a spark to what she was all about at the age of 14. She even brought her friend along for a few shots.
Here are the photos from our session.
Thank you for choosing me to help document this special time in your life. I hope you enjoy your photographs.
