New Blog Name, New Blog Post... A Peak in to our life...

After much thinking, I have decided to make the change from Summer Rain Photography by Karen Hunt to Karen Hunt Photography.   I thought it would be best to start with a fresh new blog and showcase the photography style I love the most on this page.  I feel I have grown so much in my photography in the last year and am looking forward to all that I will learn this year.  Over the last six months I have fallen in love with lifestyle photography. While I will offer all styles, this is my favorite and where my heart lies.  I love to capture the everyday, the small moments that may not seem like much now, but in a few months or years looking back it's those moments that are captured that sometimes mean the most. A few weeks ago I started documenting my life differently. I started to capture the things that matter in my families life at the time so that when we look back we have photos to document our lives. So here is a little peak in to our life. Some of these photos are not perfect, but they are our life and to me they are beautiful.

Shawn will kill me when he see's this, but I have to admit it I love how peaceful he looks when he sleeps.

Dad, Not so happy to be waking up. Normally he is the first one up, but not on this morning...

Ethan is always our last one up.

Mariah was so sweet and surprised me with this sweet valentine note when she woke me up.

Rise and shine even for Mom... Time to get making breakfast.

We celebrated Valentines day a few days late around here with Red Velvet Pancakes. Yum!

Shawn is obsessed with the Xbox these days, and Halo.

Mariah got to bring her class pet Mr. Squirrel home this weekend, so we had to document some fun with him.

Bath time...

Some families have a rubber duckie for bath time, We have a Jaba...

Mariah was enjoying playing on the phone while Conor was having a bath.

Conor LOVES lolli pops (i mean pop pops) these days.

 Boy time...

Outside to play and take some photos... This one was for OMA.

Mariah took this one of me, she thinks I need to be in some photos.
Yes, this is my husband, and yes I can't help but love him. He is sweet and funny and it's never a dull moment with him.

 Trying to look like me.

And LOVE, we have lots and lots of LOVE around here.
