30 Minutes In the Life ~ September

Each month a group of photographers have gotten together to form a blog circle "30 Minutes in the Life". I can't speak for everyone, but for me this is a chance to for me show you the beauty in my every day life through my eyes.  Be sure to check out our facebook page here, and our 30 Minutes in the Life blog page here.

This month I decided to share 30 minutes of an end of summer evening. The weather was simply beautiful and we went to the playground out behind our home.  The light was absolutely perfect. My husband and boys were playing football, while my youngest son and daughter were making wishes on dandelions and playing on the playground.  Mariah, my daughter has especially been wanting to get in to gymnastics recently. She has been wanting to try out some back flips on the monkey bars. So she climbed to top and gained enough nerve to try it out.  She nailed it!  I was so happy to capture it on her first try when she got it perfect.  Next up in our circle is the very talented Cindy Cavanagh from Albury, in Australia. Click here to see 30 minutes of her life and follow along through the rest of our circle.

Until next time... karen

The Figueroa Family ~ Haymarket, Va Family Photographer

A couple of weeks ago I got to photograph this adorable family at the greatest location. It was a little farm in Haymarket called Burnside Farms. This time of year they have thier sunflower fields in full bloom.  I had never been here before and thought it was such a cool place for a photo session. Thanks so much Robyn for the location idea and choosing me to photograph you guys. You guys have a beautiful family and are lots of fun.  This is my favorite type of session, not all the shots are posed and I am capturing them just having fun and enjoying their day together. Here are my favorites from this session.

Thank you for taking the time to view this post. If you would like to schedule a session, please email me at karenhuntphotography@gmail.com.    Until next time.... Karen ... xo
